SWOSSAA Wrestling Results – Feb 2016
Sarnia-Bluewater was well-represented at this year’s high school regional qualifying tournament.
Oustanding Female Wrestler and Lambton Female MVP went to St. Clair’s Tali Allen at 61kg.
Lambton Male MVP went to Nathan Moro of St. Patrick’s at 72kg.
St. Clair Secondary School won the Boys’ team title, and placed third in the Girls’ team title race, giving them third overall in Combined Boys/Girls’ team title.
Top two qualify to represent Lambton-Kent at OFSAA in Windsor on March 1st-2nd.

2016 Cadet/Juvenile Championships
Congratulations to all the wrestlers that competed at the Cadet/Juvenile Provincial Championships on Feb 6-7 in Sudbury. Full results are available on the OAWA Website.
SBWC placed 6th overall for cadet boys, 4th overall for juvenile boys, and 5th overall for juvenile girls. Top three individual results include:

2016 Ontario Cadet/Juvenile Provincials
The Ontario Amateur Wrestling Association (OAWA) is holding their annual Cadet/Juvenile Provincial Championship tournament on Feb. 6-7th at Laurentian University in Sudbury, ON.

St Patrick’s Catholic HS – FIGHTING IRISH DUALS – Jan 9th
This Saturday, January 9th, St. Patrick’s Catholic HS will be hosting the Fighting Irish Duals.
4 Team Dual Meet Format on 2 mats – Round Robin Format
Featuring teams from Sarnia-Lambton, Matmen, Bishop Ryan, and Windsor.
50/50 Draw at the beginning of the final matches – proceeds to support local athletes.
Concessions will be available.
Spectator’s Entry Fee
– $3 entry fee for adults
– $2 for students
– Athletes, Children and under 12 – free
