The first practice of the fall club season will be on Tuesday Sept 19th, at 7:00-9:00pm in Room 99 at Great Lakes Secondary School (SCITS). Practices will continue at 7-9 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

$150 Club Membership Costs Includes:
– On-the-mat training twice per week from September through June
– Membership to the OAWA – Ontario Amateur Wrestling Association
– Sarnia/Bluewater Wrestling Club T-Shirt
– Ticket for May End-of-Season Banquet

Sarnia Wrestling has been invited to two tournaments in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Saturday April 1, 2017 – 7th Annual Girls New England Freestyle Wrestling Championship

Sunday June 25, 2017 – Massachusetts Women’s Freestyle, Men’s Freestyle and Men’s Greco Roman Championships

Both tournaments are for all ages. If you’re interested in attending either of these tournaments, contact Coach Burke or Coach VanderSlagt.

The Ontario High Performance program is going to the Mohawk Valley Camp and Tournament on March 9-12. Ontario Cadet/Juvenile medalists receive a discount, but all interested athletes (including Bantams w/ parents) are welcome to attend.

Athletes will take part in a pre-tournament camp at Brock University in St. Catharines, and then travel to NY State to compete in the Mohawk Valley International Wrestling Festival in Canastota, NY.

Cost for athletes to attend is $300 ($250 for provincial medalists), including the camp at Brock, the entry fee for the tournament, hotels, travel by coach bus from Brock to Mohawk Valley and back, as well as a team T-Shirt.
